RCCG Shares Foodstuffs, Clothes with Abuja Residents Ahead of Christmas.
As the Christmas season draws closer, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has once again demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian service by reaching out to residents of Abuja with foodstuffs, clothing, and other essential items.
The outreach, organized as part of the church’s annual community support initiative, was aimed at easing the economic burden faced by vulnerable individuals and families, especially during the festive period. Beneficiaries received bags of rice, groceries, clothing materials, and other relief items designed to put smiles on their faces as they prepare for Christmas celebrations.Speaking during the distribution exercise, representatives of the church emphasized that the initiative aligns with RCCG’s core mission of spreading love, compassion, and hope beyond the walls of the church. According to them, Christmas is a season of giving, and supporting the less privileged is a practical way of sharing the message of Christ’s love.
Residents who benefited from the gesture expressed gratitude to the church, describing the intervention as timely and impactful amid rising living costs. Many noted that the items received would go a long way in helping their families enjoy a more meaningful Christmas celebration.
Over the years, RCCG has remained consistent in its charitable activities across Nigeria and beyond, engaging in various social responsibility programs including food drives, medical outreaches, educational support, and disaster relief efforts.
The church reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such initiatives, urging individuals and organizations to embrace the spirit of giving and community support, especially during festive seasons.
